The story
We take six bridal Paithani commissions per year. The full-field gold zari version requires a master weaver and one assistant working simultaneously on a single loom for eight weeks. The bride selects the ground colour and the pallu motif combination from our archive. Each bridal Paithani includes a handwritten certificate from the weaving family and a silk-wrapped bobbin from the original lot.
How we source
Woven at the loom, carried to Kalbadevi, sold to one family.
Every piece we stock is bought directly from the master weaver. No middlemen. No mill production. Ramubhai will tell you the thread count, the loom number, and the weaver's name.
